The Village of Harriman, NY incorporated in October 1914, is located in Orange County. It is almost equally split between the Towns of Woodbury and Monroe.
The Village is named after E.H. Harriman, former president of the Union Pacific Railroad. Previously, was known as Turner, from the early restaurant of Peter Turner.
